Gas Ducted Heating
Gas Ducted Heating is one of the best options for whole home heating that can be zoned. Regardless of the outside temperature, a gas ducted heating system will keep your home constantly warm and comfortable, particularly in temperatures below 7C outside. Gas ducted heating is the best way to heat up a cold house quickly and consistently, no matter how cold it is outside.
What is Gas Ducted Heating?
Gas Ducted Heating is a ducted heating system that is situated either in your roof or under your floor, depending on available space for the system. It uses gas to produce heat which is then distributed through your home.
How it works
A Gas Ducted Heating System works by drawing the air inside your home through a fan which then circulates the air over to a heat exchange. The heat exchange then warms the air and a fan pushes that warm air into the rooms of your home via the outlets and duct network in the form of a steady, gentle supply of warm air. Controllers monitor the air temperature on a continual basis and control the system to ensure a consistently warm temperature throughout the home. A return air grille recirculates air to the heat exchange, beginning the cycle again. Once your home reaches your desired temperature, the heater unit switches off. The fan then comes to a halt slowly, ensuring that all the remaining heat inside the unit is used.
A Gas Ducted Heating System comprises a heating unit connected to a series of outlets via a system of ducts. The outlets and ducts are strategically placed throughout your home, either in the floor or ceiling. The ducts that connect the outlets to the heating unit are neatly hidden away and a wall controller lets you set the temperature for the whole home or just a single room.
Heating zones
Our zoning technology allows you to heat any area in your home. You can heat just a single room, saving you money on your energy bill. Some systems can accommodate up to four zones, allowing you to set different temperatures in each zone or to turn off the zones you are not using.
Gas Ducted vs Ducted Reverse Cycle
A gas ducted heating system is the perfect choice when outside temperatures constantly drop to 7C and under. If, however, you experience mild winters around 15C outside where you live, a ducted reverse cycle system may be a better choice.
